The safe management of nuclear wastes is one of the great scientific and social challenges of the 21st century.
Organised by the Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH (FZJ) in the framework of the MRS2023 fall meeting, the Scientific Basis for Nuclear Waste Management (SBNWM) Symposium provides an international platform for experts and young scientists from research and waste management organisations to exchange information on recent developments of research related to fundamental and applied material science aspects in the context of the safe management and disposal of nuclear wastes.
For maximal knowledge exchange and scientific and social networking the symposium will be organised as a face-to-face event.
